Kannada actor Shiv Rajkumar reached Kamal Haasan’s new film Thug Life’s event.
Amidst the TRAI language controversy in Tamil Nadu, South Superstar Kamal Haasan said- Kannada language is born from Tamil. He made this statement on 24 May during the audio launch event of his new film Thug Life in Chennai. This statement of Haasan is now being opposed in Karnataka.

Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yeddyurappa said- insulting the language of others is a rude behavior. Kamal Haasan is proud that he worked in many languages including Kannada. But insulting the Kannada language by including actor Shiva Rajkumar in the glorification of Tamil language.
Actually, the TRAI language dispute is going on between the Central Government and the Tamil Nadu government. Under the new education policy implemented in 2019, students of every state will have to learn 3 languages. This includes Hindi, English and local language. The Tamil Nadu government is opposing Hindi language.

Kamal Haasan’s new film Thug Life will be released on 5 June. Hassan reached Chennai on 24 May at the audio launch of this film.
