With the century of Karun Nair and half a century of Danish Maliver, Vidarbha’s team strengthened its position in the Ranji Trophy final against Kerala on Saturday.

Vidarbha’s team scored 249 for four in the second innings of the fourth day. At the time of the stump, Nair 132 and skipper Akshay Wadekar were playing four runs. Danish and Nair advanced the innings and put the team in a strong position with 184 runs for the third wicket. Danish scored 73 off 162 balls with five boundaries. Nair hit 280 balls and hit 10 boundaries and two sixes.
