Gujarat’s talented young players Aryan Shah and Dev Javia entered the second round of the ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament after winning their own matches.
Aryan defeated South Korea’s Minjong Park 6-2, 6-2, using Sharp Volly and Powerful Service. Dev Javia, on the other hand, had to struggle to win the match. After reaching the first set tiebreaker, he defeated another Indian player Abhinav Sanjeev by a score of 7-6 (7-4), 7-5. In other matches, Chris Tyagi of India from 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7-2), Turkey’s Yankee Irel, from 6-4, 6-3, Japan’s Ryotargo Taguchi to Siddhartha Rawat, 7-6 (7-6), 7-6), from Japanese. 6-3, Japan’s Matasuda defeated Bharat Kabir Hans 6-2, 6-4 and extended his campaign. Several other Indian players won their match and advanced to the tournament.
