Ahmedabad: The municipality has today speeded up the amount of suspected fake ghee. On the basis of information that fake ghee is being distributed in the name of branded ghee, when the food department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation was investigated today, seven bins of 15 kg were found in which expiry date was one year and Shadha was used instead of pure ghee.
All these quantities have been sealed from the Kirana store in Jashodnagar area of the city so that they do not reach the people and suspected ghee samples have been taken. Meanwhile, when the site was examined by Bhavin Joshi of the Food Department of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, it was found that the area where the ghee is brought from is Khokhara area and a large amount of Hardik Traders has been brought here in Khokhara area.

On the other hand, FSSAI’s mobile van of the Government of India also reached the spot, who has also reported that the preliminary investigation has been successfully tested. However, due to expiry date and spelling mistak, the investigation will be done precisely whether the ghee is fake, said Dr. Bhavin Joshi. He said that ghee samples are sent to the Vadodara lab, which will be sealed to prevent this ghee from reaching the people till the report will come up within 10 days.
What can be in suspicious ghee in the name of branded?
Parth Parikh, who performed the primary test by FSSAI mobile, said that in just two minutes, mixing the ghee sample in the casserole, it is known whether there is any mixture in the ghee. However, this report cannot be considered a final report. In this report, only ghee is known about whether there is vegetable oil. Vegetable oil is not found in this test. Apart from this, if the yellow is used to increase the oil or fat or change the color of ghee, it will be realized in the labest.

Why do you know fake or real?
Many people are deceived by looking at the same sticker and brand, but the ghee you are taking is fake or it is very important to know the real. An official of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, who was present on the spot, said that the expiry date of the brand whose ghee was caught is usually nine months but the sticker here has been killed from above and has written one year’s expiry date instead of nine months. Apart from this, the biggest spoken proof is the brand’s spelling mistake on the sticker.
