President Donald Trump’s administration is facing a new lawsuit, arguing that the administration’s threat to prevent federal funds from millions of dollars from Federal Fund from Columbia University is illegal.
American Federation Teachers F Teachers on Tuesday filed a lawsuit with professors at the University of the American Association University, arguing that the Trump administration “wanted to unite power over higher education.”
“This action challenges the illegal and unprecedented efforts of the Trump administration to overcome the educational autonomy of the university and control its faculty and students’ ideas, associations, scholarships and expressions.”
“The Trump administration is forcing Columbia University to control its dialect and expression on campus by closing billions of dollars in Congress’s official federal funds – which is responsible for replacing the American University system as a global leader in Vijay .Janic, medical and technical research.”

The Colombian administrators have come to a case after agreeing to review their policies related to the protests of the students and to review its central eastern study department.
The Trump administration threatened to stop some million 400 million if the change was not made.

Sources familiar with the negotiations told Fox News that fulfilling the demands did not mean that Colombia would return their million 400 million funds, but it is just a prerequisite for negotiations.

The Tuesday’s lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York requires the court to reinstate the Trump administration “all grants and agreements at the University of Columbia.”
