The Indian team is currently practicing at SAG Sports Complex, Himmatnagar, Gujarat. They will travel to Indonesia on 12/1/25 to play matches against Hong Kong, Kyrgyz Republic and host Indonesia. After qualifying in the qualifying round, the team will play the final round in China.Gujarat has a very important role in this team as our 6 players are the backbone of this team.

All these players are undergoing intensive training under qualified coaches. For the first time the Indian women’s team is participating in the Asian Futsal Club Championship and this will prove to be a great opportunity for our players to represent our country. Futsal is an indoor sport similar to football played on a field shaped like handball, each team consists of 5 players with a ball heavier in weight than football that keeps the ball on the ground and does not play much in the air. Playing tricks match few tricks in basketball. Most of the coaches prefer playing light players during training in football where they implement futsal skills to develop futsal skills in the players.
Gujarat is organizing futsal championship for women players from Gujarat from 2022 and with the benefit of organizing futsal the players got entry into the Indian team. This game is fast and very popular in the world.
