Bihar Election 2025: The confusion that arose between the Grand Alliance on Lalganj in Vaishali district and Kutumba assembly seat in Aurangabad district in the Bihar elections has now been resolved. Earlier, candidates from the two constituent parties of the Grand Alliance – RJD and Congress – faced each other on these two seats. But now RJD candidate from Kutumba and Congress candidate from Lalganj Aditya Kumar Raja have withdrawn their nomination.

Mahagathbandhan showed the coalition religion

Munna Shukla’s daughter Shivani Shukla has been given ticket by RJD on Lalganj seat. When Congress fielded Aditya Kumar Raja. After withdrawing the nomination, Aditya Raja clarified that he had taken this step not under any pressure or personal interest but with the objective of preserving democracy and coalition religion. District Election Officer Varsha Singh also supported the withdrawal of Aditya Raja’s nomination. He said that two candidates have also withdrawn their nomination in Mahua Assembly.

Shivani Shukla’s mother has also been an MLA

Shivani Shukla is now fully active with the Mahagathbandhan’s candidature for Lalganj seat. His father Munna Shukla won as an independent candidate from Hajipur Jail in 2000. After this he also won on JDU ticket. Shivani’s mother has also been an MLA from this seat.

The RJD is trailing Congress state president Kutumba in the electoral fray

Both RJD and Congress candidates were in the fray from Kutumba seat. Congress state president Rajesh Ram filed his nomination from this seat on Monday. RJD announced its full list of candidates. In which the candidate from Kutumba seat was not announced. After this Congress breathed a sigh of relief.

Shivani Shukla is active in Lalganj

Shivani Shukla is currently seen active in Lalganj and is constantly contacting the residents of the area. His nomination is now considered an example of unity and coalition religion for the Grand Alliance. BJP has fielded Sanjay Singh from this seat, who will now contest against Shivani Shukla.
