According to information available, the AIFF Executive Committee has opted for management and federation in the name of Khalid Jamil as the new chief coach of the Indian football team in the presence of a technical committee led by former captain IM Vijayan.

Former Indian player Khalid Jamil was born in Kuwait. Khalid Jamil has been a star coach in the eyes of the All India Football Federation. He has succeeded in winning the Men’s Coach of the Year Award for two consecutive seasons organized by AIFF. While Khalid Jamil had delivered Jamshedpur FC to the semifinals in the 2023-24 football league season under his brilliant coaching experience, Khalid Jamil has now been entrusted with the new responsibility of bringing the Indian team on the track.
