The pensioners living in Gujarat had to be confirmed every year. They had to be taken to the bank or in other offices. However, an important decision has now been taken by the government. In which pensioners do not need to go anywhere for the existence of survivors. The pensioners will be verified as soon as they sit at home.
Ahmedabad: Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, an important decision has been made in the interest of the pensioners of Gujarat. The process of verifying the existing (Life Certificate) has been simplified by the state government by taking into account the difficulties faced by pensioners and especially the older pensioners.
According to the current process, the pensioners of the state have to go to the relevant office or bank for the exception of the existing. In which older pensioners experience many problems as a result of physical disability. To facilitate this process by the state government, the existing service will now be made available to the pensioners free of cost.
An agreement has been signed with the Indian Postal Department by the Government of Gujarat to verify the existence. This service will be available to pensioners through the state post office/ Indian Post Payment Bank. Under this service, the pensioners’ home-greeted will be completely free of charge. This service has been employed as an additional option to help pensioners. Other alternatives to existing existing existence will continue according to Rabeta.
This important decision has been made by the state government, positively by the state government, positively. This decision will benefit more than five lakh pensioners in the state.
When Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the India Post Payment Bank nationwide in 2018, “Baking Service or Gate” was the main vision. This initiative has been taken by the Government of Gujarat as part of this vision. During the agreement at Gandhinagar, Health Minister Rishikesh Patel, Minister Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma, Finance Department Secretary T. Natarajan, GST. High officials including Commissioner Rajiv Topo were present.
How will the whole process work?
Pensioners are given a digital life certificate. Who will now go to every pensioner’s house by contacting the IPPB team or running against their post bank team. PPOs in the software of the mobile life certificate available with them. Important data such as number, Aadhaar number, bank account details, mobile number will take the pensioner’s biometric. As a result, the digital biometric authentication of the pensioners will issue a digital life certificate within minutes. A digital copy will also reach the pension office. The pensioners of other states and the native Gujarat will also get the benefit of this service. For which they have to contact the nearest post office or postman.
