There has been a big news about Rajasthan’s IPL player. A case of rape has been registered against IPL player Shivalik Sharma in Jodhpur and the police are now preparing to arrest him. Shivalak Sharma has played cricket for Baroda and Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
It is being said that Shivalik lured the victim of Jodhpur and had physical relations with her but later refused to marry her. Therefore, the victim filed a case against Shivalik at the Housing Board Police Station of Kudi Bhagatu in Jodhpur. According to police, Shivalik and girl were engaged. After this, a physical relationship between the two formed and in 2024, both also went on the trip but in August 2024, Shivalik’s parents broke the engagement.
Hamir Singh, in -charge of the police station, said that the police were raiding the accused and may be taken into custody shortly. Currently, the entire investigation process of the case is underway and the police are moving forward following the legal process. He said that the statements of witnesses were being taken in this regard.
