
2025 of Fashion Runway Show in future – completing 82 designs – increased the work of 67 students. The look was inspired by individual stories and anecdotes, which addressed topics such as stability, technology, cultural heritage, and more. Five concentrations include Nitwear, Sportswear, intimate apparel, children’s wear and special opportunities.
The 2025 Future of Fashion Runway Show of the Fashion Institute of Technology, which is sponsored by Massey, performed 82 innovative designs by 67 BFA students, exposing topics such as stability in five fashion concentrations and cultural heritage. The award winners included Khoboso Nele and Elison Margaret Smith, who received 10 students critic honors.

The runway look was chosen by a group of reputed judges, including the fit alumni who includes endow-hirsh, fashion designer and actor; Kevin Bass, Senior Associate of Programs and Fashion Calendar in the council of fashion designers (CFDA) of the US; Edmondo Castillo, Fashion Accessories Designer; Hallis L’Te Streng Daniel, Design Director, Massees; Vanessa Freedman, Fashion Director and Chief Fashion Critics, The New York Times; Kelly Gab, Account Executive, Avalon Apparel; Philip Lim, Fashion Designer and Creative Director; Fit alumna Rebecca Moses, International Fashion Designer and Author; And Dr. Valerie Steel, Director and Chief Curator of Museum in MFIT.
The fourth consecutive year, Massey was the leading sponsor of the show. Massey’s social purpose platform, mission through each one, the brand recognized the excellent skills of graduates with two awards, empowering the next generation designers, trendsters and retailers through their future style funds (FOSF). Massey’s capsules collection winners, Khoboso Nele, will gain real world experience by working with Nelle, retail and manufacturing massey masters. Cooperation will end in the production and sale of NAT collections under Massey’s private label bar III, which is nationwide in Messi’s Herald Square Flagship and select stores.
Massey’s Strong Design Award, which honors a student who describes his inspiration powerfully through a final design, was honored to Elison Margaret Smith.

In the preparation of the runway show, the students collaborated with leading designers, who worked as critics throughout the spring semester, offering expert insight into five areas of concentration. Thirteen students were honored as critic award winners and were recognized with distinction during the runway show. 2025 recipients Alexandra Danon (Sportswear), Evelyn Hernandez (Sportswear), Lei Huang (Special occasion), Laurin Ilasko (Nitwear), Hanna Kisilvich (intimate apparel), Paris Liu (Nitwear), Leh Robinson (Sports, Sports, Alison (Sports), A. Elison (Sports), A. Alison (Sports, Elass) (Burq Trap (Sportswear), Yaxiang (Peter) Zionag (Sportswear), Giangu Yang (Sportswear), and Jionhung You (Sportswear).
