Religious cause- From a religious point of view, Tulsi is considered a goddess form. Tulsi is worshiped in Hinduism and is considered very sacred. Therefore, it is believed that cutting its leaf with teeth is considered profane. According to the Scriptures, the basil leaves should only be broken by hand and swallowed directly, not chewing with teeth. According to some beliefs, cutting Tulsi mother with teeth is similar to their humiliation, which can affect negative energy. Because of this, many people break the basil before consuming it or boiled in water.
