Ahmedabad: Fake ID on social media is increasing in the case of harassment of women. One such case has been registered at the city’s Ellisbridge police station. Someone made a fake Instagram ID by the name of the wife of a young man living in Ambawadi. Strangers gave a nasty message. Not only that, Parineeta broke the SIM card by getting tired of the messages of the men making video calls. Even when Parineeta took the new number, the messages came to the police. Ellisbridge police have launched a criminal investigation into the incident.
If we talk in detail about the incident, a 26 -year -old youth living in Ellisbridge in the city works as a manager at a private company. A few days ago, it was reported that someone made photographs in the profile by making an ID of his wife’s name. From this fake ID, strangers made nasty messages to the young man’s wife.
Not only that, there were also messages to make a video call from Fake ID. After which the unknown persons started calling the young man’s wife’s number. Not only this, the individuals also sent messages written on the spouse’s WhatsApp. The young woman blocked these numbers and broke the SIM card and took a new number.
It is worth mentioning that even though the young man changed his wife’s number, the stranger was harassed by phone. Ellisbridge police, who have been informed to the police in this regard, have registered a crime investigation in this regard. Then with the help of cyber experts, the accused has begun to know who is and what is the reason behind doing this and after the arrest of the accused, more will be learned.
