Bihar Elections 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lashed out at the Grand Alliance in Bihar, alleging that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress and other allies are committing a new crime of ‘burqa against development’ by defying the Election Commission’s instructions to identify burqa-wearing women at polling stations. Adityanath, who is campaigning for the Bihar assembly elections, also accused the opposition parties of planning fake voting by ‘infiltrators’.
Bihar is on the path of development under NDA rule – Yogi
He said, ‘Bihar is moving on the path of development under the rule of NDA (National Democratic Alliance). Congress, RJD and their allies have started a new crime to create a hurdle in the development of Bihar. This is a storm of veils against development.
Yogi asked – Should fake voters be allowed to vote?
Addressing a rally organized in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate and former Union minister Ramkripal Yadav in Danapur, outside Patna, Adityanath said, ‘Should fake voters be allowed to vote? This is what Congress and RJD want, that’s why they are creating so much fuss about burkha. This is why they are also opposing Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), as they want to bring back the era of old ballot papers in which their followers can loot the booths.

Bihar Election 2025: UP Mafia was partner of RJD – Adityanath
Referring to the cultural connection between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, he said, ‘After the construction of the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya, Sitamarhi is also being given a new life. Work is also underway to establish better connectivity between the two places. Adityanath referred to the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh and said that the mafias who were eliminated from the state were RJD’s ‘partners’.
Sitting in the lap of Congress, Lalu forgot the ideology of JP
Yogi Adityanath claimed, ‘They will have to face the same fate in Bihar under the NDA regime.’ The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister claimed that the RJD has forgotten the ideology of Jayaprakash Narayan (JP) by sitting in the lap of the Congress. Lalu Prasad started his political journey with this Loknayak movement which shook the whole country before Emergency. The way was prepared for the defeat of Indira Gandhi.
The Samajwadi Party also ignored the legacy of JP – Adityanath
Adityanath alleged that even the main opposition Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh has neglected the legacy of ‘JP’. He said, ‘The condition of the hospital named after JP at his birth place was pathetic. It changed only after our government came. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister addressed the rally in Danapur and Saharsa.
