Tej Pratap Yadav: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has allowed RJD leader and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav conditionally approved the Maldives. The court said in the order that the allegations could be serious, but no bail accused could only be denied the fundamental right to travel abroad on this basis.

The special judge Vishal Gogana’s court has allowed Tej Pratap to travel to the Maldives between May 17 and 23 on the condition of depositing a bail amount of Rs 25,000. The court also clarified that no expansion would be made during the travel period or that Tej Pratap would not abuse this permission.

The court sought this information from Tej Pratap

The court has instructed Pratap to submit all the necessary information related to travel like Stay, Local Contact Number and Travel Program. It has also been said that they will not tamper with any evidence or they will try to influence any witnesses.

Accused in a job scam instead of land

Significantly, Tej Pratap Yadav is accused in the job ‘instead of land’ in the railway recruitment. In the case filed by the CBI, it is alleged that the Railway Minister was between 2004 and 2009, during the tenure of Lalu Prasad Yadav, land was taken from the candidates in exchange for Group D Jobs. Many people, including Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, two daughters and some unidentified government officials, have been charged in the case.

Maldives will go between May 17 to May 23

Tej Pratap was given regular bail by the court after appearing in response to the summons on March 11. Now after the court permission, they will be able to go to the Maldives between May 17 to May 23, but all the conditions will have to be strictly followed. Political circles have been stirred on the court’s decision, as the matter is high profile and politically sensitive.
