About 4,000 pre -primary schools operating in Ahmedabad are standing in the lock. What is the main reason?
Ahmedabad: About 4,000 pre -primary schools operating in Ahmedabad are standing in the lock. The main reason behind this is that no changes have been made by the government. On the one hand, the government is seeking to bring all pre -primary schools across the state under the Education Department, for which the district education officer’s office has decided to register pre -schools. February 15 was the last date for registration. And even since then the date of registration has been extended. But still in the Ahmedabad District Education Officer, only 1 percent of the schools have been registered with only 52 schools. If the rules do not change, it is decided that these pre -schools will lock.
At present, school administrators are still away from registration for the rules of pre -primary school. Only 1% of schools have been registered in Ahmedabad city. There are 4000 pre -primary schools in Ahmedabad out of which only 52 schools have registered. If the government does not change the rules, many pre -primary schools will be locked. There are thousands of pre -primary schools in the state. It has been very difficult to obey the way the government has prepared the rules and it was also presented to the education department. Even after meeting with the government, no concessions were given in the rules, which is why school administrators are still away from registration. A 15 -year rental agreement is sought in the rules that the government has prepared.
Besides, academic building use permits have been sought. Simultaneously, rules including fire have been made. But no owner is willing to change the purpose when a pre -primary school is running in the rental. A 15 -year rental agreement cannot be signed at the same time. Which has not been registered. Free primary school administrators say that if the rule does not change, it will be difficult to run schools. Due to the rules of the government, parents are also not ready to send their children to school. This has had a huge impact on admission next year. In this regard, the District Education Officer says that only one percent of the schools have come into registration. There are 4000 schools in Ahmedabad, out of which 52 pre -primary schools have registered.
